What I ALWAYS Keep In My Purse

As some of y’all know, actually most of you probably know because I ranted on the daily when I was in Europe (lol), I was luggage-less in Dubrovnik for 6 days.

NIGHTMARE. All I had were the clothes on my back (sweat pants + white tee), sneakers… and a handful of items I always keep in my purse.

THX GOD I at least had a few of my favorite items on hand!!!:

Native Deodorant

As mentioned in my Instagram post, I asked the ladies in the Miss Lifestyler FB group for the BEST all natural deodorant. I’ve been on the hunt for years and had yet to come across one I really loved. I went with y’alls suggestion and ordered the Native Deodorant (the Vanilla & Coconut) and I’m OBSESSED. Not only is it the best smelling deodorant I think I’ve ever smelled, it works like a charm! It’s also made without aluminum, parabens, phthalates, and talc.

Hands down the best all natural deodorant I’ve ever tried.

They also have bar soap in the same scent I love, Coconut & Vanilla which I will most definitely be using on the regular.

ALSO, if you’re trying to get your man to switch- they also have Mens deodorant- I may or may not have ordered the Mens Eucalyptus & Mint for myself.

And side note: WHY IS MINIATURE EVERYTHING SO CUTE!? K not everything but you know what I mean. My Native deodorant comes in the cutest little mini travel size that is perfect to keep in your purse!

Organic instant coffee packs

Game. Changers.

I like to call these life saver packets. They are just too good, and so damn convenient! Wherever you are, simply ask for hot water and you got yourself a delicious cup of organic coffee.

Very often I actually just use these packets at home when I’m feeling lazy. I add a dash of cinnamon, a splash of coconut milk & it takes (almost) just as good as my freshly ground coffee.

I’m also pretty adamant about sticking to organic coffee as often as I can, seeing as coffee beans are one of the most heavily sprayed crops… so I did extensive research to find the best organic coffee packets. Boom. These are a winner and I will ALWAYS carry these in my purse.

*especially convenient on airplanes. I’m not about that burnt/chalky tasting airplane coffee anywhere around my mouth*

Packets of peanut/almond Butter

If you’ve been following me for a bit (or read my recipe book) you know I think it’s so important to have healthy snacks on you at all times. Especially at the airports, traveling and taken out of your everyday routine. These are good to spread on bananas, apples or crackers, all which can be found pretty much everywhere!

Peanut Butter Packets, here.

Almond Butter Packets (organic), here

Organic Spray Sanitizer

Always on hand! …and plus side, it smells heavenly!

The Lavendar is my fav, found here.

Tablet/E-Reader

I finally caved and bought a tablet/e-reader. I do love the feeling of holding an actual book, but It’s just too convenient to not lug books around in my purse all day! I also go through books so quickly, so this ended up paying for itself within the first few months.

It’s also nice to be able to check my emails and hop on the internet with this tablet when I’m not by my computer!

If you’re curious what my current read is: The Death of Mrs. Westaway

 My E-Reader is here.

All natural anxiety blasters

Raise your hand if you get a little ancy from time to time! *raising hand*

Sometimes when I’m super stressed while working, I’ll break out my lavender oil and slather it on my wrists… it’s like a wave of relaxation washes over me.

Also, Ashwagandha pills… I like to call the all natural xanax, is a powerful adaptogen formulation that soothes the nervous system, providing a quick, safe, and natural way to relieve stress, anxiety, and insomnia.

Even if you’re blessed sans ANY anxiety, Ashwaghandha pills & lavender oil are just very relaxing overall, especially when winding down before bedtime.

My lavender roll-on here.

Ashwaghandha pills here.

Lip Sleeping Mask

Don’t let the name fool you… it’s called a mask, but it’s really just a GREAT chap-stick to use whenever your lips need some TLC.

Personal theory- most chapsticks have a drying affect that make your lips MORE chapped. I’ve found this to be true with so many brands that I’ve tried.

So one day, me and my chapped lips walked into Sephora and asked someone for the best solution, and without skipping a beat she confidently said “Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask”.

FINALLY a lip moisturizing product that works. Trust me, you want this for the colder months that are rapidly approaching. You can either go into Sephora and ask to sample it, or just trust me and order it online.

You can purchase here.

A few other things include bluetooth headphones, wallet (obvs), sunnies & gum. Always gum. Orbit Spearmint if we’re getting specific.

Anyways, what do you keep in your purse? Anything weird!? I wanna know!

Talk soon,

jen x
