If you didn’t see my last post about this sale, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Prep, I talked about the importance of buying your annual wardrobe & beauty staples during this time.
Why? Because these are high quality, long lasting pieces that you can snag at seriously discounted prices. AND these prices are going right back up to normal as soon as this sale is over… regret is a horrible feeling, lets not let that happen.
So.
I've skimmed through 40+ pages of sale items to save you time, and bring you the BEST picks, in my opinion.

...and believe me when I say I had to weed through some "oh that's why they're on sale" items.
When splurging on pricey pieces, I only gravitate towards solid basics & neutral colors that can be worn (or used) in many ways for years to come.
Basically, you don't have to worry about the trend fading, ex: gingham right now... love love love it. Next year? Might not be so hot... so I won't be spending $100's on a gingham jacket this season you know!?
However, splurging on a classic, black leather jacket? Absolutely. A perfect example of a timeless piece that's worth the extra penny.

My fav top to wear to spin class, or just during the day when you're pretending you're actually going to the gym. Light, breathable fabric ... the perfect top to go with shorts or leggings.
2. Autumn High Waist Moto Leggings

Speaking of leggings and pretending to go to the gym.... I practically live in leggings (and yes, leggings are pants in my book). Zella does not disappoint in this category... they'll be your new fav pair as well as these that are also on sale.
3. LunarEpic Low Flyknit Running Shoe

A classic white sneaker for $40 off orig price? Literally can't go wrong.

Who CAN'T use another adorable one piece swimsuit? This one from Robin Piccone is an absolute classic. Also available in black which is even cheaper for some reason? Hey I won't ask questions.
5. Marant Faux Leather Duffle Bag

Yes, yes, yes. This is legit the perfect, most versatile overnight/weekend duffle bag.
6. The Prince Rimless Mirrored Sunglasses

These light gold stunners from Le Specs are a must. Will these ever go out of style? Nope.
7. Avalon Gradient Lens Square Sunglasses
was $120 / SALE $79.90
The original pair in the photo sold out, womp. BUT these chic sunnies are a close second and seriously discounted.
8. Lola Semiprecious Stone Drop Earrings
was $75 / SALE $49.90
I just think these earrings from Gorjana are SO beautiful. Dainty gold jewelry with turquoise is and always will be my "add to cart" weakness. Perfect to gift or selfishly keep for yourself (like me.)
9. Gabbie Thigh High Over the Knee Boots
was $129.95 / SALE $86.90
You know you're going to want black, classic, over-the-knee boots AS SOON as the temp starts dropping. Why wait? I know it's weird buying boots when you can still fry an egg on the sidewalk outside, but winter will be here before we know it. Might as well save some $$.

10. Ivan Faux Leather Backpack

UGH the original Rebecca Minkoff backpack in the photo is no longer avail on sale (I told you I pick the most desirable items) BUT this one from Sole Society is even more neutral and so much cheaper! Blessing in disguise?
Anyways, I always always aways travel with a chic little backpack. Perf for exploring a new city!
11. Small Love Embroidered Nubuck Crossbody Bag
was $275 / SALE $183.90
Shocker, another Rebecca Minkoff sale item that was wiped out. I ended up buying the Small Love Embroidered Crossbody Bag because I love this Rebecca Minkoff style bag SO MUCH that I own in 3 different colors. This print is still neutral but also super fun, and I know I'll get a ton of use out of it. That discounted price was way too attractive to turn down.
12. Carmine Off The Shoulder Dress

Guys I LOVE Paige dresses but I don't necessarily love their prices... that's why when I find them on sale I jump on it.
Here's another awesome dress under $50 . The kind of flirty, versatile dress that you wish you had in your closet on more than one occasion.

Tee's like this under $20!?!? You can never have too many! Likee I currently have this tee in 3 different colors in my cart RN: white, black and grey. Throw on with skinnies or cutoff shorts/denim skirt for an effortlessly chic look.
